Overview

Bishop Engineering provides complete piping design for petrochemical, power, oil & gas and industrial plants — from FEED and basic engineering through detailed design and as-built. We produce the drawings and calculations a project needs to procure, fabricate and install piping safely and to code.

Work is delivered to recognized codes such as ASME B31.3 and is integrated with our construction teams, so the design intent carries through from drawing board to the field.

Design work

• Piping layout and routing studies.
• Piping General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
• Piping isometric drawings with bill of materials.
• 3D plant modeling and clash checking.
• Material take-off (MTO), line lists and tie-in packages.

Calculation & analysis

• Pipe stress and flexibility analysis (CAESAR II).
• Wall-thickness / schedule selection per ASME B31.3.
• Support span and pipe-support design.
• Line sizing and pressure-drop checks.

Tools & standards

• CAESAR II, 3D modeling and AutoCAD.
• ASME B31.3, B36.10M / B36.19M, ASME B16.5.
